World Brown Swiss Conference 2022

The Brown Swiss Association personally invites you and your colleagues to join us at the World Brown Swiss Conference 2022, October 1-5, 2022. This conference was originally scheduled for 2020 and then 2021 and due to COVID-19 was postponed to 2022. We're planning an exciting conference with plenty of valuable programming in a great destination—Madison, Wisconsin! During the conference, you will partake in farm tours, experience the International Brown Swiss Show & Sale at World Dairy Expo, enjoy the Madison food scene and culture, and see some of the best U.S. Brown Swiss genetics live and in person. You’ll also gain knowledge from U.S. and international speakers presenting on timely industry and breed topics highlighting the importance of the Brown Swiss breed in the world dairy population. While at World Dairy Expo, you will encounter the largest dairy cattle show in North America with over 60,000 attendees, including 2,100 international guests from about 100 countries.

The Hilton Madison Monona Terrace Hotel will serve as the conference headquarters. It is connected to the picturesque Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center, designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Both are located in downtown Madison and are a mere three city blocks from the beautiful Wisconsin State Capitol building, shopping, museums, and a variety of fine restaurants and lounges.

As an attendee with a full conference registration, you will have the opportunity to see 1,500 Brown Swiss on the pre-conference farm tours. The following days include a visit to World Dairy Expo (WDE), where there will be 350 Brown Swiss at the International Brown Swiss Show. In total, WDE hosts 2,300 dairy cattle on exhibit during the event. Don’t miss the chance to experience Madison and everything the World Brown Swiss Conference has to offer.​
